OUR HISTORY

Norma White.png

Pioneer.
Innovator.
Entrepreneur.

Martino-White Printing, Inc. was founded in August 1973 by Norma  White and her husband, Johnny. The retired Army couple originally bought a Kwik-Kopy franchise in Forest Park, Georgia and reached an agreement with another retired Army couple, A. J. and Prudy Martino. The Martinos invested $7500 as a loan with the option to convert the loan to 50% ownership in the first year.

Norma and Johnny were successful in that first year so the Martinos exercised their option, and the name soon was changed to Martino-White Printing, Inc. Norma’s five children had always been involved at the print shop, albeit mostly after school and on weekends. Soon second-generation Whites and Martinos were working full time with Norma and Johnny as were other family members. The husbands’ roles were generally behind the scenes as Norma managed the business and Prudy acted in a sales capacity.

The two women took over full ownership as their men partly and then fully retired. Subsequently, Norma bought out Prudy’s 50% making her the sole owner. She passed away in 2022 and left the shop to her two daughters, Kim and Jill, as well as her son, Mark. These three have owned and managed the printshop ever since.
